Leave Logic's Admin experience is evolving! Inspired by feedback gathered from our customers and users, Leave Logic is receiving a major refresh to the Admin experience Monday, April 29, 2024.

We know change can come with a lot of questions, so we have compiled the most frequently asked questions below. Can’t find what you're looking for? Please reach out to your Customer Success contact - they'll be glad to help!


What is Changing in the Admin Experience?


We have made several updates and added new features to help Admins more easily support employee leave education and planning. With this new release you will have several refreshed and new features at your fingertips.

Below are the highlights but there is even more! We invite you to log in and experience the all the new features!

What Admin features are new & refreshed?

  • A new look and feel with easier navigation - more modern and a lot easier to comprehend

  • New Admin homepage - the HR Admin Dashboard is your new home! It provides a comprehensive list of Shared Leave Plans that you can filter, sort and search.

  • Dynamically search the Shared Leave Plan list on the HR Admin Dashboard page. As you type, your list narrows down search results to display only what you want to see.

  • Reporting statistics right on your homepage! Three reporting tiles display at the top of the HR Admin Dashboard page that display Leave Logic usage data at-a-glance.

  • Our iconic Leave Plan timeline provides a great visual of your employees' Benefits. You have a one-stop shop, on the Admin experience Leave Plan page, to see exactly what your employees see - view the same employee timeline view and list of curated Benefits for Shared Leave Plans.

  • View Benefit Details by clicking on a Benefit Name from the Leave Plan Benefit Sources list under the Leave Plan timeline view or the Benefits tab.

  • Easily edit Shared Leave Plans in the Employee portal by clicking the Edit pencil on the timeline view.

  • Important employee and Leave Plan information displays right on the Leave Plan page on the Employee/Leave Plan Snapshot to the left of the Leave Plan timeline view.

You can also complete actions, such as inviting (or re-inviting) an Employee to view

an Admin-created Leave Plan, archive, and delete Leave Plans.

  • Leave Plan History is easier than ever and displays only what you need to see about key Leave plan updates in an easy-to-comprehend format.

  • Chat with us while viewing an Employee Leave Plan at the same time! Simply click the chat bubble at the bottom-right on any Admin page to start a chat with us.

Do I still have access to the Classic Admin experience along with the new Admin experience?

Yes! Your access to the Classic Admin experience is still available. You will be able to access the below pages in Classic for a short time after the new experience is live, but will also have access to Leave Logic configuration settings, such as Job Categories, Office Locations, Task Items, etc. in the Classic experience.

Pages that will no longer be available soon after the new Admin experience is live

  • Shared LeavePlans - the new HR Admin Dashboard page in the new experience replaces the pages for Shared LeavePlans in the Classic experience

  • Notifications - your notifications display by clicking the bell icon next to your Profile menu in the new experience

  • Profile Settings - your user profile settings are available under the Profile menu in the new experience

It is highly recommended that you use the new Admin UI Dashboard and Leave Plan page to review Shared Leave Plans and the new Notifications functionality in the new Admin experience and only use the Classic UI for configuration settings. The new Admin UI provides a much easier view of Shared Leave Plans and has more features to help you better serve your employees.

You will receive in-app notifications when the Shared LeavePlans tab, Profile Settings and Notifications are no longer available in the Classic UI.

Are all Customers going live at the same time with the new Admin experience?

Yes, most customers are going live on April 29, 2024.

Will I be able to convert back to the old experience after April 29, 2024?

You will have access to the Classic experience for the Shared Leave Plans tab, Notifications and Profile Settings for a short time and then these pages will no longer be available. Each time new features are completed and are available for Admin use, the equivalent Classic experience features will no longer be available.

Why isn't the entire Classic experience available in the new Experience?

There is a lot of features in the Classic experience that need to be moved over to the new experience. In order to offer you the best experience possible, as early as possible we will be launching new features at different times after the initial launch date of April 29, 2024. We will ensure you are informed when new features are available.
