HR Admin New Experience vs HR Admin Classic View
The HR Admin interface received a refresh in April 2024. This means that the old interface was updated with a new look and feel and new features to help support Admin users provide better support for Employee leave education and planning.
What does the New Terminology Mean?
Classic View
Classic View is the current HR Admin UI that has not been refreshed with a new look & feel or features
You will see Classic View used when switching from the new UI back to the old UI in the header on every page and at the bottom of the main navigation menu
Why is the Old UI called Classic View?
There is a lot of Admin functionality that needs to be included in a refreshed interface. All of the functionality cannot be implemented as once, but we will continue to frequently release functionality until all of the most heavily used Admin functionality is in the new interface.
When there are two different versions of a product that will have more features added the version that will no longer be used after the new version contains all functionality and is being used by all Customers is distinguished as a classic or legacy version.
