If an Employee is eligible or ineligible for a specific benefit, as an admin, you are able to override the eligibility status on the Employee's benefits. This will cause the selected benefit to either visualize on the Leave Plan Timeline on the Dashboard or be removed from the Leave Plan Timeline, depending on the action taken.
Step 1. On the HR Admin Dashboard page, use the Search by name field or scroll through
the list of Shared Leave Plans to find the Employee's Leave Plan you want to
update.
Step 2. Click on the Employee's name, then on the Leave Plan page click the Benefits tab
or Edit Benefit Eligibility for this Leave Plan link at the bottom of the Benefit
Sources list.
Step 3. On the Benefits page click the 3-dot (ellipses) menu at the end of Benefit row you
wish to override, then select Override Benefit.
Step 4. Modify the Benefit override details and enter a reason for override, then click Override.
Step 5. Benefit overridden successfully message displays in upper-right corner of the
screen. It will disappear after a few seconds or you can click the X.
Step 6. An orange icon displays next to overridden Benefits.
Step 7. You can view override history for the Benefit by clicking Override History from the
3-dot (ellipses). It also displays on the Benefit Override screen the next time you
override the same Benefit.
