Getting Started

STEP 1: Create your Account

Create your LeaveLogic account by visiting your company-specific LeaveLogic URL provided by your employer (Example: CompanyName.leavelogic.com) and click on the "Sign Up" link or sign in via SSO (Single Sign-On), if applicable.

STEP 2: Create your Profile

After creating your account, you will be guided through a series of questions. These questions are designed to create a LeavePlan that is unique to your leave scenario by pulling in potential statutory, federal and employer-provided benefits.

We have provided a high-level list of questions you can anticipate.

1st screen: Planning or Just Looking Around

  1. I want to plan a leave (Select this option if you know you will need to take a leave and are ready to start planning)

  2. I’m not planning yet, but I want to learn more (Select this option if you are curious about LeaveLogic, but not actively planning. Functionality and information is slightly limited in this 'Just Looking Around' option.)

2nd screen: Select the type of leave needed, such as:

3rd screen: Select your specific leave scenario

Depending on the type of leave selected, you may be asked to specify the type of scenario (i.e. if your family is growing adoption, parental, maternity, etc).

4th screen: Identify your expected last day of leave

When do you expect your leave of absence to end? Options you might see:

We recommend selecting “I don’t know” if you are unsure of your last day, as this option allows all potential benefits to be visualized to their maximum amount of availability.

*Selecting "I don't know" or any specific dates can always be updated after your LeavePlan is created. Your LeavePlan is fluid and can always be changed!

5th screen: Confirm your employment details

Depending on your company’s settings, some of your options may already be selected (and grayed out) for you.

Some questions you might expect to see here:

  • Work location (country and state)

  • Full or Part-Time

  • Salaried (exempt) or hourly (non-exempt)

  • Job category

  • Hire date

  • Provider for medical benefits

  • Typical Work Schedule

STEP 3:

Create your unique and personal LeavePlan.

LeaveLogic is here to support you on your leave journey! We wish you all the best!
