Follow the steps below to set up your LeaveLogic integration with Slack:
Log into LeaveLogic as a Company Administrator user and go your Company Settings view within the Admin Console:
2. Click the "Add to Slack" button.
IMPORTANT: The user setting up the Slack Integration needs to have access to add applications in their Slack Group in order to set up the Slack Integration with LeaveLogic
3. You will then be directed to a page to pick your Slack team and approve the LeaveLogic integration. If you don't see your team listed, you can enter your email address to find your team.
4. Authorize LeaveLogic to send direct messages to users who choose to receive notifications in Slack from their LeaveLogic Settings (see below)
5. After authorization, you will be redirected back to LeaveLogic and will now see a LeaveLogic channel created in your Slack application under APPS. If you do not see "leavelogic" under APPS, click the plus sign (+) to add the LeaveLogic application to your channel list.
6. Employees will now be able to elect to receive task reminders in their direct (private) Slack LeaveLogic APPS channel from their LeaveLogic profile Notification Settings by going to their Settings page under their Profile and selecting to Receive Notifications in Slack.
7. Employees will now receive task notifications and reminders in their private Slack channel.
